Double Trouble - "TF: The Last Knight" 2nd Trailer Response

So, yeah... another one of these short blog posts, but I feel it's absolutely necessary to go into this one.

Opening day for the new remake of 'Beauty and the Beast', and both me and my family go out to see it at the theatre. It's in IMAX style, and it's all fine and dandy. The trailers come on after the commercials. A few look okay in general, but one trailer caught my attention.

It's this one:

That's right, another trailer for the fifth Transformers film that is coming in two months.

You all have seen my reaction to when the first trailer came out in December, days before I had gone to see Rogue One with two of my BFFs. I knew that there would be a second trailer to follow a month after the Superbowl commercial to promote the movie. Judging by the comments section, I feel I should briefly get into this trailer - as well as my first reaction of seeing the trailer in the theater.

1. I notice that there is a female human role. (YET AGAIN!) This time to my relief, they aren't hot-looking or "She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named". It turns out that Michael Bay is working to try and redeem from his past mistakes with "her", Whitely and the other chick in the fourth film that will be forgotten easily.

2. Dinobot Grimlock appears in it. I guarantee that just like the fourth film; they will give the Dinobots very few scenes because it's the entire thing on: "WE NEED HUMANS!" "THE ROBOTS ARE NOT IMPORTANT!" "IT'S ABOUT FAMILY AND STRENGTH!" Give me a break.

3. Some new characters are coming in as well as a new design on Megatron/Galvatron. Another thing that annoys me is that Optimus did put a big red X on Megatron at the end of 'Dark of the Moon'. If you saw the Superbowl trailer, the Ark that Sentinel Prime rode on and slept is knocked away by a giant fracture of what looks like Cybertron remains. Some people told me it could be Unicron or a disciple of Unicron. Again, we don't know until the movie comes out.

There's not really much I can say about this but these are my thoughts on the trailer:
With all honesty, it was slightly better than the first trailer that came out in December. However, I feel that there should be more Autobots action, and that like the commercial mentioned: to find out who was speaking to Optimus Prime before his eyes go all purple like he is possessed.

I plan to go and see this movie with Meghan who is one of my BFFs when it comes out. I won't expect myself to like it or dislike it. I usually let the movie sink in for a bit after it ends so that I can create an opinion on what I've thought of it.

Being that it's been ten years since I saw the first live-action Transformers in theatres at the age of 13 back in 2007, I've gone to every live-action Transformers that came out ever since. Hopefully, this keeps my expectations on the film franchise in general.

And hey, there is a Bumblebee solo film coming out next year, so I might go and see that depending on how well "The Last Knight" does for me. I hear Transformers 6 will be out in 2019 but Michael Bay isn't going to direct it, nor will he direct the Bumblebee solo film. I am a bit relieved that he will be out of the director's chair for the franchise so he won't ruin it anymore with explosions, hot girls or humans taking up the majority of the movie.

It's no wonder I defend the 1986 movie a lot, but I just don't really talk about the Michael Bay films as much as I did back in high school.

By Merlin's Beard! - A "Transformers: The Last Knight" Review

Before I go on to start off on this review, there just has to be the usual warning at the beginning of the reviews for a movie; especially for these kinds of movies since I've done a review on it before with a rant about the fourth film of the series. ***SPOILER ALERT*** Today I finally got a chance to head out to a theatre in Etobicoke and meet up with a friend, as I purchased tickets on the website to see the newest Transformers installation after another three-year long wait. (Last movie was in 2014.) Having been watching these movies for ten years in the theatres, I thought I could settle and go with the tradition of seeing it on the big screen. We waited for a bit as me and her were there since 3pm, but got into the screening at 3:30pm to get our reserved seats and watch the film. When the movie began, I knew somehow that there was going to be the same formula that would be repeated just like with the last three movies before this. To be honest, it is the exact s...

Nightwish - Demo - 1996 (Review)

Alas, we begin the very first review for the very first product that counts as a studio album. Yes, it's only a demo with three songs, but I still consider it a studio album because it came with the CD of 'Angels Fall First', which you will see in the next review. 'DEMO' from: Nightwish Let's kick off this party with how this demo sounds like. This was back in the year that Nightwish first formed in 1996, the same year this demo came out. At this point, the only three members at the time were Tarja, Emppu and Tuomas. You will notice that there is a large absence of drums and bass from the recording. The demo mainly is composed with beautiful acoustic guitars and synth/clean piano with majestic soaring vocals that Tarja delivers. Funny thing, there is two guitars doing leads but panning left and right. 1. THE FOREVER MOMENTS - 9.5/10 The song kicks off immediately with a grand piano playing a serene tune, before the acoustics kick in with a clean s...

An Angry Rant about the "Transformers: The Last Knight" Teaser

In... out... in... out... alright, you can do this. Unleash all of your anger calmly... ...Okay, so you know how I once stated on my Facebook that the first time I was seeing the 2016 remake of Ghostbusters, I posted about how I saw a big poster hanging above that was advertising "Transformers: The Last Knight". I only posted about that, and it wasn't really getting much attention. But hey, when the teaser comes out it definitely gets more attention. Before that, I didn't really know what was coming up considering in the end of "Age of Extinction", Optimus goes off to look for the Creators. Well, the teaser did come up and online yesterday while I was busy with the Lordi coming to Toronto craze that day. Regardless, it shows Optimus Prime standing there in a gray fog-like setting like it's coming to a conclusion in the films (Well, the Bay-directed ones.) I click on this link to the teaser trailer and this is what I see: Now, I'm bringing...
