Not In This Lifetime... Once In A Lifetime!

Hello everyone once again! I was bored, and I have decided to post once again about an event that is coming up for me in the next few days ahead. It's a rock concert, yes... but this is a different kind of concert that I am going to in a HUGE stadium. No, not the Air Canada Centre: good guess though. It's the 'Rogers Centre' I am going to, where the Blue Jays are usually playing baseball even though I'm not into sports but show support for the team. Now you might be telling me "Cut to the chase, who are you seeing?", but now I shall tell you. It's a show on the summer's hottest reunion tour of 2016! Need a hint? I'm going down to Paradise City... that's right my friends! GUNS N' FUCKIN' ROSES!!! Yes my friends, it's a reality that has finally come true after twenty years of waiting for the day to come when Axl Rose and Slash play together on stage. As a very young kid growing up in Elementary school, I would rememb...

"Spartan vs Spartan: Dawn of AIs?" A Halo 5: Guardians Review

Hello once again, it's me. After having delayed on playing it since I got the game on Christmas Day back in 2015 and it took me a while but after friends convinced me to play it I finally picked it up and decided to play it. It's good considering that I should take a bit of a break from the Fallout 4 craze at the moment. As you usually know, it's a tradition for me to not go straight to Multiplayer at first, but more rather head straight into the Campaign at first because when I first started playing Halo from when I got my first one "Halo 3" back in 2007, it's always been something for me to do the story first, play online later. Now that I've had a chance to play the campaign, I can do a review about this game. This is my review of 'Halo 5: Guardians". And as usual... Spoiler Alert . I decided to keep an open mind when I first pressed the start button to begin the campaign and at the point, my best friend and a few others were telling...

Nightwish - Demo - 1996 (Review)

Alas, we begin the very first review for the very first product that counts as a studio album. Yes, it's only a demo with three songs, but I still consider it a studio album because it came with the CD of 'Angels Fall First', which you will see in the next review. 'DEMO' from: Nightwish Let's kick off this party with how this demo sounds like. This was back in the year that Nightwish first formed in 1996, the same year this demo came out. At this point, the only three members at the time were Tarja, Emppu and Tuomas. You will notice that there is a large absence of drums and bass from the recording. The demo mainly is composed with beautiful acoustic guitars and synth/clean piano with majestic soaring vocals that Tarja delivers. Funny thing, there is two guitars doing leads but panning left and right. 1. THE FOREVER MOMENTS - 9.5/10 The song kicks off immediately with a grand piano playing a serene tune, before the acoustics kick in with a clean s...

Let The Rainbow Remind You: Rainbow Rocks Review

On September 27th, me and a friend went to the theatres to see this movie. And, you know what? OH MY GOD THIS MOVIE IS THE GREATEST MOVIE I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! Hey... look over... SPOILER ALERT !   So the movie starts off at the other side of the Alternate Equestria where everypony turns out to be humans just like in the first movie! And then we get these three girls who turns out that they were banished to that place. But by who? Who cares though! KABOOM! They see the transformation of Sunset Shimmer from afar and the rainbow attack on her. They then realize that Equestrian magic is now in that realm they were banished to years ago. Cut to Canterlot High a year or a half later, Sunset Shimmer is still trying to redeem herself but she gets poked at for becoming an evil she-demon who wanted to take over Equestria with an army of teenage zombies. Principal Celestia and Vice Principal Luna come in and announce that they will be having a high school musical and ...

Repeating The Same Thing Over: A Rant on Transformers 4

SPOILER ALERT Alright all of you, listen up. And do listen well to my words that I've typed. And note above that there is spoilers. It's been a few weeks since I've seen "Transformers: Age of Extinction" on the big screen with my friend Emily and a friend of hers that I just got to know. I loved it and I gave it a very positive rating. But if it's one thing to tell: I didn't know what message anyone who gave the movies a mixed review was saying when they saw the sequels. I've seen all four of the Transformers movies in theaters and I loved all of them giving each movie a positive rating, probably because of the action, the transformers and the fact that I knew all about the Transformers in my childhood. And believe me, I'm still keeping my opinion on what I think of the first three movies: they're fantastic as hell. Right now, you must be thinking of this as a review for the movie... no. It's not a review, it's a rant. I'...

Only A Week Until I'm Along For The Ride

You could all be probably guessing why I'm writing today on my blog! Well, it's because in a week from now, I'll be seeing the most epic metal band ever known as "Dream Theater"! I am so damn excited to see this band ever since I bought the tickets in January. If you don't know what Dream Theater sounds like, they're a mix of Rush, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Genesis, Judas Priest, Megadeth and YES. Here's a song below that was popular on the video game Rock Band 2, if you remember seeing and playing that game. I first discovered Dream Theater back in late 2011, during one of their best songs. I nver did really listen to the full thing since Progressive wasn't my type then, since it went on for too long during it's soft part. I believe the song was "The Count of Tuscany". Back then, I didn't really have musical patience to sit through a 20 - 40 minute song, so I just changed to something else. Little did I know that song would eve...

New Blog on the Blog

Alright, you fuckers. Here is my blog as you kept telling me to start it like "When you gonna make a blog?" "Please make a blog so you can talk about stuff about all types of metal!" Well, it's on right now! Nah, I wouldn't have that attitude when greeting my visitors to my blog. Welcome to my blog, and my name is Brayden. Now I don't have to say when it comes to introductions, but I'll be talking about metal and rock bands, incidents that go on, I'll even pave the way to put on a bucket list of things I want to do, including stuff I've done in real life, and album reviews on straight-forward and concept albums. Did I mention that I am in a Punk band? Oh yes, I'm the lead guitarist in that band. But we're nowhere near the other bands who have been successful. My band's name is called "Totaly Drained". Well, gotta run now! Stay kvlt to all my black metal fans out there, stay metal to all my metalhead friends out...
